statement. After all, you are not covering your floors – you are uncovering the beauty of your home or business.
While tint, style and budget are essential factors when shopping for the carpet, the preferred colour at the lowest price doesn’t necessarily represent the best value.
Performance value, the way the carpet actually performs when it is on the floor, should be your primary consideration. Ask yourself a question: ”Is my home for sale, for rent or for myself?” It is not east to predict how long a carpet will last in your home. The “ rule
of thumb” is: The better the fibre and denser it’s packed – the better the carpet will perform.
Low quality carpet is easy to recognize – it is thin and lightweight. Virtually any carpet looks good when it’s first installed, but the longer it stays looking good, the greater its real value.
As your plan develop, you will collect fabric swatches, point chips, photo examples from a design magazine, and other helpful tools. Be prepared, as you bringing your personal decorating style to life.
Beware of bargains. Most retailers offer legitimate sales at various times. However beware of unbelievable and unreasonable bargains and advertising claims. Cheap carpet that wears out quickly can prove to be more costly in the long run. Remember, you get what you pay for!! |
